The Sign in with Shop button is coming to the customer account login page for stores using Shop Pay. This update will make it easier and quicker for your customers to log in, giving them a smoother shopping experience and speeding up checkout.

Starting March 18, 2025, the Checkout Blocks app will automatically display the cheapest shipping option first when reorder delivery customization is active. Other shipping options will follow your configured settings. This ensures buyers see the most affordable option upfront and enjoy a consistent, transparent checkout experience. Shopify has acquired Vantage Discovery, a startup founded by ex-Pinterest engineers that builds AI-powered search tools for retailers, for an undisclosed amount. Launched in early 2023, the platform uses LLMs to deliver more personalized and relevant search results for shoppers.

Wix has launched Wix Automations, a new tool for building advanced workflows using a visual drag-and-drop interface. Comparable to Shopify's Flow or a simplified version of Zapier, it allows users to create or customize automations tailored to their website or store. Key features include intuitive design, advanced customization with conditional logic, centralized management, and email performance insights. Wix Automations integrates seamlessly with Wix Services, enabling workflows like rewarding repeat customers with personalized coupons. The tool is available on Wix and Wix Studio, with free access to a limited quota and optional premium upgrades.

TikTok introduced new tools for sellers, including automated approval for returns, refunds, replacements, and cancellations, plus the option to exclude PO Box deliveries. Fashion sellers can now mark items as "final sale," and all sellers can set custom handling times for orders.
