Horizon themes update: Version 1.0.5
The latest Horizon release brings exciting updates with deeper customization and smoother performance. New features include the ability to toggle and show a second image on hover, product card image carousel options, and a clickable Hero section. If you’re using Horizon, this update is definitely worth upgrading to.

Google launches AI outfit try-on app, Doppl
Google’s new app “Doppl” lets users virtually try on outfits using just two photos: One of themselves (full-body), and one of an outfit. Doppl then uses AI to create a realistic still or video of the outfit on the person – ideal for fashion brands exploring immersive shopping tools. Keep an eye on this trend – it may shape customer expectations sooner than you think.

BNPL loans will soon impact U.S. customers’ credit scores
Starting Fall 2025, Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) usage (e.g., via Klarna, Affirm) will be factored into FICO scores. This could help responsible shoppers raise their credit – or expose risky buying behavior. If BNPL is part of your checkout, expect more questions from customers about how it affects their credit – and be ready with clear answers.

Smarter product cards = fewer clicks, more conversions

Let’s be honest – nobody enjoys opening 10 product pages just to look at photos.

But that’s still the norm on many Shopify stores.

Here’s a better way: let shoppers view multiple product images right from the collection page – no extra clicks, no lost momentum.

How?

  • On mobile, add swipeable galleries with slider dots for context.

  • On desktop, show arrows and image dots on hover for quick browsing.

Result? Faster decisions, fewer bounces, and a smoother path to checkout.

👉 If your theme doesn’t support this, you don’t need an app for that, we’ll build it for you. Submit a request and we’ll get it done – fast, clean, and built to convert.

A massive roll cloud swept across the northern coast of Portugal this weekend, looking eerily like a giant ocean wave in the sky. Nature flexing hard.
