Helping Shopify merchants navigate the Shopify ecosystem for winning outcomes

Hey there! 👋

We've got some exciting news to share this week! We just launched this awesome Q&A feature where you can ask questions about themes and apps you're considering trying.

This gives you access to detailed replies from merchants who have already experienced the tools you're interested in, as well as direct answers from the developers themselves 💁‍♀️ Plus, you can share your own wisdom by replying to questions from other Shopify merchants.

We're really proud of this feature and the opportunity it opens up for Shopify merchants to get firsthand advice while researching themes and apps. So don't hesitate to test it out and get your questions answered today! 🤗

🧩 Shopify updates

  • Expand your wholesale offering to include non-physical products, like digital downloads, warranties, and services.

  • Alcove, a carbon credit management company based in New York, has launched its eponymous app for Shopify. This platform allows developers of carbon projects to efficiently manage and sell credits generated by various types of carbon removal or avoidance projects. With over 50 million tons of CO2e inventory, Alcove provides a robust solution for carbon credit management.

  • Merchants selling in multiple currencies with Shopify Payments can now set payment terms and collect deferred payments for local currency orders.

  • Merchants selling in multiple currencies with Shopify Payments can now edit existing orders.

🚀 Our developers' top 3 projects of the week!

1. Our developers set up minimum quantity and multiple count quantity purchase for a Shopify merchant. We also added a metafield to set the minimum limit for quantity on the product page. If a customer tries to buy below the minimum limit, they'll see a popup prompting them to enter the correct number.

This feature works great for wholesale stores that sell products in multiples, like 5, 10, 15, and so on. With the help of metafields, we can dynamically adjust the quantity selector based on the minimum multiple count.

2. Recently Bought feature without an app! A display of recently bought items with fake names and random products that pops up at the bottom part of the page.

3. Drawer Calculator: Customizable drawer calculator can be used for a variety of scenarios, styling, fields, etc.
