• BigCommerce unveiled 100+ platform upgrades, new features, and integrations in its inaugural Next Big Thing launch, detailing what's available now, coming soon, or on a waitlist.

• Amazon is projected to represent 40.4% of U.S. retail e-commerce sales, totaling $491 billion this year, as per an eMarketer report.

• Klarna is launching its credit card in the U.S., following its success in Europe. The card, issued by WebBank in Utah, lets customers make purchases in-store or online with Visa, paying in three or six month installments.

• Freelancers and agencies on Wix Studio platform can now sell website templates directly on Wix Marketplace.

🚨 Theme version updates

Dawn version 14.0.0 is out

Dawn 14.0.0 introduces Quick Add Bulk feature, upgrades for "Sign in with Shop", and various performance enhancements. Buyers get a keyboard-optimized bulk buying flow, personalized avatars, and easier Shop sign-ins for merchants.

Trade – new theme!

Shopify introduced Trade, a free theme tailored for B2B merchants, now accessible on the Theme Store.

Trade is actually a version based on Dawn, just like Taste and Craft. The key distinction lies in Trade offering B2B-specific features like volume pricing (currently in early access), bulk add to cart, and a "Become a wholesale partner" page.

This theme is exclusively for Shopify Plus users as B2B and wholesale features are only available on Plus.

Canopy version 6.0.0 is out

This release introduces numerous new features and functionalities designed to engage your customers and increase conversions. Canopy v6.0.0 is great for bulk selling and managing large inventories.

The foundational code framework has been completely revamped, moving to an improved and streamlined coding system. With Canopy v6.0.0, enjoy faster loading times and smooth navigation. The updated coding system aims to enhance your site's performance, providing customers with an improved browsing experience.
