Optimization check-list

In this week's checklist, I've rounded up 5 cart page tips to help boost your conversions!

1. The cart makes it simple to reach out to the store's help center, like through live chat, email, or phone.

2. Info on returns, refunds, and a money-back guarantee is displayed. If on external pages, a little pop-up window pops up instead of taking the customer away from the cart.

3. The cart lets you enter a coupon code discreetly with a hidden input field (so customers won’t go to hunt for codes on Google).

4. The cart offers (inexpensive) upsell/cross-sell products with benefits and urgency ("Now or never") and a special discount (e.g. 50% OFF).

5. Customers can “save products / cart for later” instead of deleting them.
