Shopify Plus merchants have just under a month to switch to Checkout Extensibility

Shopify will stop supporting 'checkout.liquid' customization on August 13, 2024 ⛔️

You have just a month to prepare for this change if you haven't already. After this date, any customizations to your checkout won't work. This impacts custom changes and checkout-related apps, so it's important to take action now. Upgrade to Checkout Extensibility to stay up-to-date 😌

Optimization check-list

In this week's checklist, I've rounded up 5 cart page tips to help boost your conversions!

  1. When the user returns to the site, the items that they placed in the cart are still there.

  2. All key product details appear in the cart: title, image, selected variant, quantity, and price.

  3. The right product image is shown for the chosen product variant (e.g. Red dress).

  4. The cart allows you to change the quantity of the product and automatically updates the cart.

  5. The user can easily remove an item from the cart.
