Quick heads up for Shopify Plus people – less than 2 weeks left to switch over to Checkout Extensibility! Shopify might won't support your old checkout customization after August 13, 2024 ⏰

Here's what's changing after August 13, 2024:

- 'Checkout.liquid' customizations will be locked: Customer support for updating or fixing these customizations on Information, Shipping, and Payment pages will no longer be provided. Shops with outdated code post-deadline do so at their own risk.

- Payment gateways will be locked: Switching or deactivating providers won't be possible.

- Risk indicators for orders will be disabled: Due to security reasons, fraud indicators and recommendations for new orders will no longer be available.

- Potential delays in Shopify Payments payouts: Higher risk orders may cause payouts to be delayed by up to 5 days.

• You can now use automation to set up and keep your privacy policy, cookie banner, and data sales opt-out features up to date with Shopify’s latest recommendations. 


• As of July 17, any changes made to a Shopify invoice (total or partial cancellation of charges) will generate a Credit Note. Credit Notes can be viewed and downloaded from the Billing section of the admin.

• You can now view all submissions from the Shopify Forms app in your admin. This allows you to view all of your submissions in one place, instead of searching through customer records for a specific submission.

• OAK + FORT and their +40 retail stores in the US and Canada are now powered by Shopify and Shopify POS.

1. The most common queries (as reflected in analytics) produce useful results.

2. The search engine includes templates, examples or hints on how it can be used effectively: verb + item (e.g. search "men's hat, blue leggings, XL pullovers").

3. The search box is long enough to handle common query lengths.

4. The search box gives results if you press Enter.

5. Once you click on the search field and before you type in anything, the search gives you hints of your recent searches or trending searches.
