Just a quick heads-up in case you missed the recent newsletters – in 3 days, on August 12th, Shopify will be moving to Checkout Extensibility. For Shopify Plus users, this is a big deal, especially if you've customized your checkout – it might not work as before. Changes include locked 'Checkout.liquid' customizations, restricted payment gateways, turned off risk indicators, and potential delays in Shopify Payments payouts.

If you're diving into email marketing for your brand, keep an eye on Apple's new iOS 18 update. Apple Mail leads the way with a 48.33% market share, outpacing big players like Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo Mail in user numbers.

On iOS 18, Apple Mail now sorts emails into categories (Primary, Transactions, Updates, Promotions) with options for users to rearrange them. This update can benefit email marketers by allowing users to move promotional emails to 'Primary', potentially boosting open rates and clicks for successful campaigns.

Users will now get an AI-generated summary of each email post-update, so don't forget to run some preview tests!

Grouped description on a product page

  1. The product description is easy to read (font size, contrast, single column, 75 characters per line, line-height 1.5, max. 4 lines long).

  2. Product info layout is a breeze to scan with grouped details, bullet points, and key benefits highlighted.

  3. The page sections like "General" and "Technical info" are all in accordion format (if they're lengthy) and easy to scan on mobile.
